Creating Flood Cuts After A Water Loss
This home had a toilet supply line break and flood the bathroom. The crew of SERVPRO of Layton/Kaysville responded quickly when contacted to clean up and repair the home.
We began by working to extract the water and remove the wet, damaged material. We performed flood cuts to remove the damaged drywall from the room, as you can see in these images. A flood cut is simply a cut in the drywall that is made just a few inches above the flood line. It allows us to be able to remove the damaged materials and gives us drying access to the interior of the wall.
